How to Update your iPhone/iPad/iPod Software Using iTunes

Important Note: Before going through the below process, and for the safety of your device data, it is recommended to BackUp your device first. To get information about how to back up your device, please check our post for How to BackUp your iPhone/iPad/iPod.

1. Install the latest version of iTunes on your computer. (You can find it here)
2. Plug in your device to your computer.
3. In iTunes, select your device. 
4. From the Summary Tab, click Check for Update.
   

1. Click Download and Update.
